The loco has a 70D (Basingstoke) shedplate and original Maunsell chimney. It was withdrawn on 30/12/1962, a month after this image was taken, but was saved for preservation, becoming part of the NRM collection. It is now operational on long term loan at the Mid-Hants Railway
