Loco was withdrawn 22/9/1963, but was saved for preservation, initially being purchased by Sir Billy Butlin and displayed at his holiday camp in Pwllheli. In 1973 it moved to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, where it remains, as W11 ‘Newport’
