Purchases, including printed photographs, digital images and DOCUMENTS
Personal use
All goods are sold for personal use are for your own enjoyment. We do NOT grant you permission to reproduce them, sell them or use them for any “non-personal” purpose.
Commercial use
The fees and conditions listed below are for the use of images in books etc.
- Please refer to the table below for fees.
- Images are supplied as .jpg files.
- Images are supplied either by email or via a link to a storage website.
- The images can only be used for the purpose for which they were purchased. They cannot be used in any subsequent publication without further payment.
- Under no circumstances must the images be supplied to any third party other than (a) another joint author of the publication, (b) the printer/publisher of the publication. Also, they must not pass the images on.
- The image copies must be destroyed after use.
- A gratis copy of the publication will be provided for the Southern Railways Archive.
- Each image must be credited ‘Bluebell Railway Museum SR Archive’ followed by the image reference number.
Heritage Societies Magazines, etc.
Preservation Societies are allowed images in their ‘free to members’, Society Magazines with no reproduction fee charged even if the magazine is also sold to the public. All the other conditions above must be adhered too.
Special Requests
Requests for use of the images in other ways, eg on websites, information boards, etc can normally be agreed. Please contact with your requirements.
