This shows two trains crossing on the Severn Valley route. This manoeuvre was quite conventional, apart from the exchange of the Cressage staff/token at the platform. The token for the next up section (to Ironbridge and Broseley, and Coalport after 1956) was collected at the signal box. The whole site of Buildwas station was swept away in the mid 1960’s when a new power station was built there
