BR(S) 0415 class 30583 at Axminster Station, Devon on Thursday 12 Sep 1957 – J. Scrace [140187]

With the single coach Lyme Regis branch line service. Loco has a 72A (Lyme Regis sub-shed of Exmouth Junction) shedplate and was withdrawn 29/7/1961. It had seen service on the LSWR, Military, East Kent Railway and SR before coming into BR stock. On withdrawal it came to the Bluebell Railway where it is preserved, although not currently (2021) in working order
