BR(S) Well Tank class 30585 & BR(S) Well Tank class 30587 at Wimbledon, Greater London with the “RCTS/SLS South Western Suburban” Rail Tour on Sunday 02 Dec 1962 – J. Scrace [140194]

Restarting from staiton with the RCTS / SRS Railtour (11.00 am Waterloo – Hampton Court – Wimbledon – Chessington South – Wimbledon – Shepperton – Waterloo). Both locos are running bunker first and were withdrawn 29/12/1962, a few weeks after this image was taken. 30585 is preserved the Quainton Railway Society at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre. 30587 is now part of the NRM collection, currently running at the Bodmin & Wenford Railway
