BR(S) Schools class 30926 ‘Repton’ & BR(S) H class 31542 at Stewarts Lane Shed, Greater London on Wednesday 06 Jun 1962 – J. Scrace [140371]

In immaculate condition. The loco has the original Maunsell chimney and a 70D (Basingstoke) shedplate. It was withdrawn on 30/12/1962, but was saved for preservation, initially moving to Steamtown in the USA. It returned to the UK in 1989 and is now operational on the NYMR. H class 31542 can be seen on the left
