The loco has the original Maunsell chimney and had been withdrawn on 17/11/1962, but was saved for preservation, initially purchased by Lord Montagu and shown at Beaulieu; then to the East Somerset Railway and finally to the Bluebell Railway in 1980, where it is now owned by the Maunsell Locomotive Society
